GRINDLE road, ROCKLEA (BRISBANE)

Urban Environmental Solutions (UES) was appointed lead design consultant for the development of the Telegraph Road Development in the Bundaberg suburb of Kalkie in 2019.

Sitting on a 30-hectare site of a former agricultural parcel, the Telegraph Road Development is a 196 Lot residential development with drainage reserve and park areas for community use. The site also includes a new trunk road connection that compliments Council's Priority Infrastructure Plan (PIP).

The proposed works allows for the existing cane rail line connecting and supplying cane to the iconic Bundaberg Rum distillery and Bundaberg Brewed Drinks.

As lead consultant, UES has provided a range of services including project management and environmental assessment to support the town planning and layout configuration.

Initially, UES delivered project management and civil engineering, flooding, stormwater, sewer and water assessment and cost estimation.
